Common Courtesy

Download | Duration: 00:42:53

How would you feel if someone invited you to their house for an evening and then commenced to ignore you the entire time that you were there? You might wonder, “Is it my clothes? Did I do something to offend someone? Why am I being ignored?” Or perhaps, everybody at the party was fluent in English and Spanish, except for you—who knew only English. Yet, at the party, they all spoke only in Spanish, which left you out of every conversation. You would have to assume that they were either ignorant of your plight or rude beyond imagination! There’s a good possibility that you would never return to that group of partiers, And, that pretty well describes the experience, on a different plane, of many who were far from God, yet wandered into church and then wish they had stayed home. In the message, “Common Courtesy”, we’re going to look at what it takes to develop a culture of courtesy in the family of God and see how important it is to the heart of God.
