Who is the most important person at church? Some might say that it’s the pastor because he has the sermon and the sermon is the most important part. Others might say that it’s the worship leader because worship is the most important part. An astute businessman might say that it’s the ushers because they take up the offering and you can’t run a church without money. A careful student of scripture might say that it is the children, because Jesus said that they are special. A broad minded person might say that it is everyone because everyone is of equal importance in the sight of God...and to a degree, that would be correct. A self centered person would say, “It’s me, of course!” The fact is, the Bible actually does clarify some priorities. In the message entitled, “Top Priority”, we’ll combine what Jesus and Paul said about the most important person at church and learn something about the heart of God in the process.
