The very first question in the Bible was by Satan to Adam and Eve. He challenged the Word of God with "Did God really say?" And, with that question, he deceived them into sin. After they sinned, the first question that God asked was to Adam - "Where are you?" Then, later on, after Cain killed his brother, Abel, God asked Cain, "Where is your brother?" Cain's answer was the first time that man "talked back" to God. Cain's answer was both lie and challenge to the authority of God, "I don't know. Am I my brother's keeper?" Those two questions, asked by God define our responsibility: 1) Where are you?; and 2) Where is your brother? In the message, "Beyond Myself", we'll see why those who are called to Him must also become responsible for their brothers.
