The slogan "E Pluribus Unum" can be found on our nation's seal and on our currency. It means, "Out of Many, One". It is a reference to the coming together of people from England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Holland, and Germany - who formed what came to be called the United States of America. One can not help but look in awe at the miracle of so diverse a people becoming a great nation, united in purpose and lasting through the generations. And yet an even greater miracle happens all around the world when the people of God (as diverse as you could ever imagine) gather together and form one body to worship the Creator. It is the body of Christ, and how beautiful it is! In the message, "Out of Many, One" (which concludes our "Getting to Know You" series) we'll see just how important it is to be an active part of the greatest gathering on earth.
