Over the past 230 years, citizens of the United States have witnessed the unfolding of one of the greatest plans for government that the world has ever known. And, it was all based on the idea of freedom. Those of us who live in this country have been among the most priviledged peoples of the earth to be freedom's benefactors. We have taken the political process to heart and have been willing participants in democracy. We have enjoyed freedoms that many on the planet will never know. We have been able to be directly involved in the political process by our right to vote, discuss, debate, and support our potential leaders. But, at times, our involvement in that process has hurt the cause of the Kingdom of God. In the message, "God and Country", we'll see how and we'll look at just what we can do about it.
